About

Carter Johnson

I am an undergraduate psychology student at Orange Coast College, currently wrapping up my lower-division classes and getting ready to transfer to a four-year university. My long-term goal is doctoral training in clinical psychology once my bachelor's is done.

Outside of school, most of my time goes into work as a Behavioral Health Technician. I implement behavioral plans and track session data on my cases, which gives me real, ground-level exposure to clinical work while I complete my education.

My specific interests are in clinical neuropsychology and forensic psychology. The plan is to push through doctoral training and eventually pursue dual board certification in ABPP-CN and ABPP-FP, with a focus on cognitive assessment and forensic consulting down the line.

When I am not studying or working, a lot of my time goes into fitness and nutrition. I take a fairly technical approach to it (tracking physiology and training metrics to watch my progression over time).

I put this space together to keep my academic timelines, writing, and projects organized. For anyone landing here, this is a simple look at what I am working on and where I am trying to go.
